The Destination is going on its 29th year of wowing crowds and filling floors. If not THE favorite, certainly one of the top picks for the Finger Lakes for a summer outing: (having grown in popularity and performance stature, the band has left behind the area clubs and publicly only plays a few outdoor venues during the 5-month CNY season). 

        Three of the best horn players - 3 of the best singers - not 1 but 2 fabulous guitarists who are part of the rhythm section (including a Latin percussionist) that is tighter than tree bark - and this year 2 fabulous backup singers were added (who won't just be singing backup for long!). Just as important, The Destination has always done the extra work to make sure the setup is concert level, with the best sound techs making it sound like a national act.

         And of course, the key ingredient - song selection - is a big reason the crowds keep growing. Some serious song writers in the group are looking forward to performing more original material but also realize that the timeless classics that built the group's reputation for danceability and super-party-vibe will always be the meat and potatoes of the set. That list includes songs originally performed by: Earth Wind & Fire, Temptations, Santana, Aretha Franklin, Tom Petty, Van Morrison, Stevie Wonder, Four Tops, Johnny Cash,  Dusty Springfield, Bruno Mars, Chuck Berry, Big Bopper, Dua Lipa, and the list goes on. 

          Hard to beat a summer day out with friends sharing a few drinks and a bite to eat while The Destination fills the air with love and happiness.
