Judy Hyman (fiddle), Jeff Claus (banjo uke), Steve Selin (guitar), Lloyd Graves (banjo), and Ben Gould (upright bass) come together as Farm Animal, a string band that pumps out Appalachian fiddle tunes. Judy and Jeff were founding members of The Horse Flies, a band that toured nationally and internationally, recording on both Rounder Records and MCA Records. Steve Selin plays with zydeco band Rose and the Bros and Evil City String band. Ben Gould, also in Evil City, was a founding member of nationally touring Old Crow Medicine Show. Lloyd Graves leads Ithaca’s honky-tonk band Lloyd’s Boys. These musically like-minded friends bring you a back-porch, casual experience of joyful, rhythmic, danceable traditional American instrumental fiddle music.
