Strange Heavy plays original sultry rock based out of Ithaca, NY. McKenzie and Galen broke onto the scene in late 2018 after years of playing well with others. They like hikes and beer and dancing and adult cartoons and each other. They don't like capitalism or alarm clocks. The duo's debut album, Wearing No Collar, was recorded in Nashville and released in 2020. Comprised of groovy cello, guitar, banjo, and drums backing bluesy vocals, Strange Heavy is happy to bring a hot, haunting vibe to an ear near you.
