The Probables hail from the rolling hills of western NY, where their distinctive “Folkana-Roots-Rock” brand of Americana music was born in 2016. Since that time, they have built a devoted, multi-demographic fanbase deriving from the strength of their fiery live performances. Formed initially as a string band fronted by veteran performer and songwriter Steve Johnson, the band’s sound has since expanded to include a powerhouse rhythm section consisting of drummer Jeff Tripoli and electric bassist Jassen Wilber. Rounding out the lineup is mandolin maestro and vocalist Adam Mckillip, and multi-instrumentalist Matt Gronquist on fiddle, electric guitar and Hammond Organ. The result is a multi-faceted soundscape infused with elements of Folk, Rock, Reggae, Bluegrass, and Funk, with Johnson’s introspective and infectious songwriting serving as the unifying element.
Ryan Peterson is an award-winning jazz guitarist and active performer in Central New York. Having been called a "wunderkind" by CNY Jazz Arts Foundation, Ryan's music consists of decidedly modern, virtuosic, energetic interpretations of Great American Songbook standards. In July 2023, Ryan led his band on the main stage of the Northeast Jazz & Wine Festival in Syracuse, NY - a festival with a history of attracting over 66,000 festival-goers to downtown Syracuse every summer.
The Notorious Stringbusters with their foot stompin, stage trompin, rug cuttin, string bustin, fist pumpin, gator jumpin, sweat drippin, ass kickin, name takin, jail brakin, swamp burnin, earth turnin, truck drivin, two timin, knee slappin, face plantin, blackout inducin bluegrass. Serisouly, they are that good!
A regular on the club and festival circuit in the Finger Lakes region, GoGone plays original roots, rock & blues; capturing songs of love, far away places, and the always changing human condition. Their music is both joyous, and heartbreaking; moving from soulful ballads of betrayal to raucous stories of adventure.
Every long, strange trip begins somewhere. This one begins at Terrapin Station. Based in Ithaca, NY, and featuring members of the former Lost Sailors, "Terrapin Station" is dedicated to carrying on the music and spirit of The Grateful Dead experience. Terrapin Station was formed in 2014 and is widely considered to be the premier interpretive Grateful Dead tribute band in the Central NY and Finger Lakes region. We've built a solid reputation for high-energy, carefully-crafted, and unpredictable performances, presented with the most consistently enjoyable sound production around. We are dedicated to recreating an authentic Grateful Dead experience, both sonically and emotionally. Our shows follow the Grateful Dead's traditional two-long-sets format, with a wide-ranging mix of rock, folk, blues, and country, mainly electric with some acoustic treatments. Improvisational jams are punctuated by sweet ballads and classic Grateful Dead show stoppers.
